Event Details

The Capital City Clauses is happy to host our largest toy drive, the 19th Annual Jingle Ball! Last year we collected nearly 5,000 toys, and this year our goal is to collect even more for The Salvation Army’s Christmas Cheer program. Please join us and help bring brighter holidays to Wake County children!

Admission
An invitation is NOT required to attend the Jingle Ball; anyone 21 years or older is welcome. Each attendee is asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy for a child (ages newborn-12) valued at $20 or more. For those not bringing a gift, admission will be $30 by cash or check. Sorry, we cannot hold gifts for other guests – you must provide your gift at time of entry in order to be admitted. And don’t forget to bring your photo ID!

Food, Drink and Entertainment
Come eat, drink, dance and be merry for a good cause!  In 2011 our Diamond Food Sponsor, Rocky Top Catering, and our Diamond Beverage Sponsor, R.A. Jeffreys Distributing Company.  Entertainment provided by DJ P-Fitty.

Courtyard Tent
Last year’s heated courtyard tent was such a huge hit, we’re bringing it back again! Jingle Ball guests are invited to enjoy tasty drinks on tap from our local brewery partners, compliments of R.A. Jeffreys Distributing Company.

Coat Check
We are pleased to offer coat check services at this year’s Jingle Ball. Bundle up for the trip downtown, then let your party dress shine!

Attire
Dress for this event is cocktail attire. Ladies, wear your cute holiday dress you have been dying to wear. Men, dress with slacks, sweaters or even your most festive holiday tie. No jeans, please!

Mailing List
Invitations are typically mailed in November but are not required to attend the event. If you are not on our mailing list or would like additional event information, please complete the form on the Donate/Get Involved page of our website.

Lost and Found
If you lose any personal belongings during the event, please contact coat check services provider McLaurin Parking at (919) 833-7522 and the front desk at Marbles Kids Museum at (919) 834-4040. They will be happy to assist in locating the lost item. Capital City Clauses is not responsible for items that are lost, damaged or stolen at the Jingle Ball.

Directions

From I-40
From I-40 take exit #299 – Person Street. Travel north towards downtown Raleigh. Continue north on Person St. for approximately 2 miles. Turn left onto Hargett St. Marbles Kids Museum is on the right at the corner of Hargett and Blount streets.

From US 1 South
From US 1 South take 440 (Outer Beltline) to exit #299 – Person Street. Travel north towards downtown Raleigh. Continue north on Person St. for approximately 2 miles. Turn left onto Hargett St. Marbles Kids Museum is on the right at the corner of Hargett and Blount streets.

From Capital Boulevard (US 1 North)
Continue on Capital Boulevard traveling south. As you enter downtown, Capital Boulevard becomes Dawson Street. Take Dawson Street to Morgan Street. Turn left on Morgan Street. Travel three blocks to Blount Street. Turn right on Blount Street. Marbles Kids Museum is on the left at the intersection of Blount and Hargett Streets.
